Ready to disconnect and take in the spectacular million-dollar views over Black Mountain? Look no further! You have found the perfect getaway for a romantic long weekend where you are nestled on a very quiet street in an abundantly wooded neighborhood. The home has vaulted ceilings with two story views from the living room with stone fireplace and oak accents. The spacious basement Entertainment room with huge Smart TV, Gas fireplace, Pullout couch, and Game room with Ping pong table. Our cozy, modern home is less than a half hour walk (5 min drive) to thee Black Mountain Golf Course or Lake Tomahawk, and Downtown Black Mountain.

In Black Mountain, enjoy local stores offering unique shopping opportunities, as well as galleries, music, craft furniture, and breweries in this easily walkable historic district. Rocking chairs are located all around town so you can rest and take in the scenic view. For an easy stroll with gorgeous views of the mountains, head to Lake Tomahawk park which is only a few blocks from downtown. Here you can walk the half-mile loop trail around the lake and enjoy views of Greybeard Mountain and other surrounding peaks. Around town, you’ll find a wide variety of places to eat to fuel up between adventures. The Blue Ridge Biscuit Company, Louise’s Kitchen, and the Trailhead are all popular restaurants. My Father’s Pizza is a long-standing local favorite as well!

Accommodations: Sleeps 6 guests. The large owners retreat on the top floor has a Queen bed, large closet, and en-suite bathroom with jacuzzi soaking tub(big enough for two), walk-in shower, double vanity, and bidet. The main level offers a king-sized bed in one private room and a queen-sized bed in another private room, they share a hall bathroom with a tub and shower. There is room for one - two additional guests on the sleeper sofa in the basement for an additional fee.
The kitchen has a dishwasher, microwave, large refrigerator, outdoor grill and the magnificent view from the dinning table. Laundry area is available in the basement. There is a garage with Tesla E-charger available for an additional $25 a day. We are pet friendly and welcome one cat or dog per booking. Pets must be housebroken and under 60lbs. The pet fee is $75 per week. There is a fenced area for dogs along the side of the home.

Our home is decorated with plush high-end furniture, beautiful geological gemstone art, and handcrafted wood accent pieces. Our design choices are not ideal for families traveling with children.

Rates & Availability

Cancellation Policy: One hundred percent (100.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 30 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. Fifty percent (50.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 15 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 15 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued. Grace period with free cancellation (no cancellation fees or partial refunds possible) for 24 hours after booking if arrival is at least 72 hours away at time of booking.
